Untitled Particle Guidance Game
Controls:
Right Click - Toggle cursor
E - Toggle edit/play modes
Spacebar - next level (will create a new level if you are already on the last level and you are in edit mode)
P - previous level, R - restart level
while editing:
- U to toggle UI
- to set the end goal, click on the desired area, move the mouse away to select a radius and right click to finish
- to draw walls, click to make points on the wall, and right click to finish. (S to undo)
- to draw orb paths, click to make points on the path, and right click to finish (D to undo)
- hold C to snap wall points and orb path points to align them horizontally or vertically or to put them over one another.
- Press O to open a level load/save screen. Only one level can be loaded/saved at a time.
UI:
- from left to right, the buttons are: particle spawn location; walls; end goal; orb path; undo previous wall; undo previous orb path
- to change the particles required/at start, hover over the text and scroll up or down to change the value.
Game play:
use the cursor to guide particles around obstacles.
Red lines (walls) will kill any particles they touch
Purple orbs will repel any particles they touch. The purple lines that they follow are there to show their path, but do not affect the particles in any way.

Hey! I've been playing around a bit with this and your previous particle projects you've released. I just need to say how really dang interesting they are!
Of course, my first question is if it's possible to turn this into a full game? Again, the idea is really interesting and I like this a lot! Other than that, can you please implement a way to save levels? It would be nice to just turn the browser off and when you return the levels are there for you to be played or further edited.

Thanks for playing! I've been thinking about both ideas and I really want to be able to do both. I want to be add some sort of save level feature before turning this into a game. Once I do I'll ask friends to design some levels and send them to me because I'm terrible and level design lol. I don't think I'll be able to make something that saves and then automatically loads levels, but I can probably make something that produces a series of numbers and characters that you can save as a text file and that can be loaded by copy/pasting the code into a text box.
While I'm working on that , I'm also planning on doing some research on level design so hopefully I can make a full game out of this. Thanks for the feedback and thanks again for playing this game!
I've finally added the ability to load/save levels! Sorry for taking so long. I kinda got distracted by a few other projects I ended up working on.
If you make any good levels, please send them to me! I'm sure they'll be fun to play.
