This is a bullet hell game for the Geta Game Jam 12, where the theme was "Unstable" and the hardmode challenge (which we tried) was "Two Colours".

Tutorial:

The line on the right (next to the fire icon) is your heat, and the bar on the left (next to the hitpoint icon) is your health. When you shoot (left mouse button), your heat increases. If your heat goes above the constraints of the bar, you will overheat. While in this state, you will take continuous damage.

If your HP is below 0, you lose.

It fits because the gun is unstable: it can damage the player if not used carefully.

Some things appear to be a darker shade of blue than the rest. That's just an illusion: the bullets can look darker because they're moving so fast on a dark background and the text looks darker because it's so thin. Taking a screenshot and zooming in shows that they are the same colour. (So does looking at the code, main.js line 300 is the only time context.fillStyle and context.strokeStyle are mentioned)

Expect to see these in future updates:

Nothing right now :(

that's because I'm working on a new project first. You can expect to see a prototype within the next few weeks. Once I've done that, I'll work on this. Please provide feedback/ideas, I will start work on this in a few weeks, and when I do, I'll look through the ideas and fill this section in. You can follow me to see updates.
